Thirty-six year old fugitive Bradley Bishop was apprehended and arrested last night outside the city limits, after he had evaded police earlier in the evening on Sage Hen Circle.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., San Angelo Police Officers and Tom Green County Sheriff Deputies approached a residence off TX Hwy 380 believed to be occupied by known fugitive, Bradley Bishop. As Officers approached the residence, Bradley ran out the back door and was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.
Bishop was transported to Shannon Medical Center for evaluation and then to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with the outstanding warrants for Burglary of a Building and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bishop was the subject of an Arrest Warrant issued in connection with the Burglary of Jim Bass Ford incident that occurred this past weekend, when he was arrested at the car dealership on July 5.
On Sunday, Bishop fled Shannon hospital, where he was being treated for medical complications, and has been sought ever since. Four San Angelo car dealerships were broken into from July 1-July 5, all of which remain under investigation.
