Racing on Highway Among Monday Charges

Two men charged with racing on a highway Monday were arrested by the SAPD and booked into the Tom Green County Jail. The men were joined by 24 others who were booked on various charges, committments and warrants Monday.

Of those jailed, theft and assault accounted for the highest number of charges at four apiece, followed by possession and marijuana at two apiece and DWI and PI, which accounted for one booking apiece.

Thirty-one inmates were released from the county jail on Monday.
