Arrests on Sunday ran the gamut, including individuals jailed on a wide variety of crimes. Of the 19 booked into the Tom Green County Jail, three were charged with public intoxication, two with assault and two with theft, one of which on two counts.
Four inmates were booked on possession charges, however two of those were also charged with marijuana possession. An additional three were booked on public intoxication and two were charged with assault.
No one was charged with DWI on Sunday, a first in well over a month. Richard Michael Garcia III, however was booked on driving under the influence, racing on a highway, accident causes injury and two counts of criminal negligent homicide in connection to the fatality wreck on Saturday.
Fourteen inmates were released on Sunday.
