Theft Tops Tuesday Crimes

Several offenders were picked up on previous charges Tuesday, many adding failure to appear (in court) or contempt of court to their charges. In total, 29 inmates were booked into the Tom Green County Jail Tuesday.

Of those arrested on old and new charges, there were seven instances of theft, five public intoxication, four assault, two DWI, two PI and one possession charge. 

Also Tuesday, there was one individual booked for attempting to evade and another for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. 

Thirty-five inmates were released on Tuesday.
