Out of 34 new inmates booked into the TGC Jail Thursday, eight of them were charged with marijuana possession and seven were charged with assault, one of which was aggravated with a deadly weapon.
Possession topped out at four, followed by three DWI, three PI, one minor in possession and one lonely theft charge.
Forty-one inmates were released on Thursday.
