Single Man Accounts for Majority of Thursday Public Intoxication Charges

Crime was fairly evenly distributed on Thursday, with assault, sexual assualt, DWIs, theft, and possession charges accounting for two arrests each.

Evading arrest, marijuana possession and terroristic threats saw one arrest apiece, and public intoxication reigned supreme Thursday with a total of five charges, three of which were against a single individual who was listed as confined at both 10:24 a.m. and again at 2:03 a.m. Friday.

There were 28 inmates booked into TGCJ on Thursday and 21 were released.
