Overdose, Possession and Theft Marks Tuesday Police Activity

 

Drug possession was the prominent crime on Tuesday, with six inmates booked, one of which was for prescription drug abuse. In addition, the San Angelo Police Department Daily Incident Report showed an incident of overdose with a variety of controlled substances, including heroin and methamphetamine.

Alcohol crimes were low, with only one inmate each booked for driving while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Theft was high, with 10 incidents on the report and five booked for the crime.

Assault stayed on the radar, with one inmate booked and seven incidents.

A total of 27 inmates were booked to Tom Green County Jail, while 25 were released Tuesday.
