Despite many efforts to curb drinking and driving on New Year’s Eve, there were still four inmates booked into the Tom Green County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated.
Four others were busted for marijuana, while three booked for public intoxication visited the TGC Jail.
It would also appear that many started off the New Year angry, with 11 incidents of assault on the first of the year.
However, thieves took the night off, with only four incidents of burglary and theft.
A total of 18 inmates were booked, while 25 were released.
