Drugs and Alcohol Account for Sunday Arrests

Pot and alcohol were widepsread in San Angelo on Sunday, accounting for the vast amount amount of arrests made by police. Of 16 jailed on Sunday, four were in possession of pot, three were driving while intoxicated and there was one public intoxication. There was also one inmate booked for assault on Sunday.

The SAPD's Daily Incident Report, however shows a more diversified range of calls for service, with eight burglaries, four assaults, four pot calls, and two for meth. There were 33 calls for service on Sunday, and 21 inmates released from jail.
