Saturday Night is Alright for Thievery

Thieves must have woken up on Saturday thinking ‘I think I’m going to steal tonight,’ because Sunday had a steady stream of calls for burglary.

Of the 42 calls to which San Angelo Police responded, 14 of them were theft of some sort, higher than any other type of crime. And one was an aggravated robbery call.

However, five of the calls were assault related, with the booking report signifying that three of those were booked to Tom Green County Jail.

Those three were a small portion of the 20 inmates booked on Sunday.

In a different twist to the norm, a man was booked and released for engaging in organized crime.
