Santa Season Starts Friday at Sunset Mall

The holiday season is here! Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. Santa will arrive in San Angelo at the Sunset Mall.

Fans of the Christmas legend are asked to gather at the Mall’s South entrance off the loop to await the big guy’s grand entry.

Marines Toy for Tots will be there assisting Santa and taking donations.

Kids are invited to go with Santa and Mrs. Claus to the children’s play area where the Clauses have teamed up with the San Angelo Broadway Academy to provide story time to participating kids.

Afterwards a special Kid’s World with free crafts will be available while supplies last.

Of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without a picture with Santa, so photo opportunities will be available after craft time.

This is the beginning of Santa season, where children get to see Santa and his helpers, giving them an opportunity to let Santa know what they want for Christmas.

It is also a good chance for Christmas photos for the family Christmas card.

Santa’s visiting hours will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday -Saturday and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays. Santa will accept visitors during those hours from Nov. 16 through Christmas Eve.
