Think Pink, Give Red

October 14 kicks off the annual, “Think Pink While Giving Red” Campaign from the local United Blood Services.

Of the blood donated, 20 percent goes towards cancer patients, especially leukemia, and there will be many options to donate towards breast cancer.

A couple of ways to participate include purchasing a breast cancer awareness T-shirt or raffle tickets for a gift basket at the local office on 2020 W. Beauregard.

All proceeds from donations go to the Laura Bush Institute’s Breast Cancer 4 West Texas fund that services local patients in the Concho Valley.

This fundraiser creates an opportunity to support life-saving organizations right here in San Angelo and surrounding areas.
