Date Set for Grand Opening of Jason's Deli

SAN ANGELO, TX – The completion date for the two new restaurants on Knickerbocker Road has been confirmed.

As previously reported, in Jun. 2021, a group of businessmen announced that they would be turning the former Korona's Formal Wear at 1819 Knickerbocker road into a strip mall that would bring multiple businesses including Jason's Deli and Smoothie King

Today we reveal that the two restaurants should be open by the end of summer 2022.

"Smoothie King is a little further along than Jason's Deli," said one of the owners of the building, John Ostrander. "We are anticipating for one to open in July and the other in August."

Currently crews are working on construction. Check out photos from the scene below.

Ostrander said the group is excited to put these new restaurants into the San Angelo market.

Jason's Deli is a sandwich shop similar to McAllister's. It serves a number of sandwiches, spuds, and salads. The Jason's Deli salad bar is the centerpiece. Smoothie King is of course a smoothie shop. The franchise said what sets them apart is their unique blends of flavors that are low in calories.

Were I living there I'd grab a Reuben from Jason's.  I've had them from Jason's in several locations, and the only place I've had them better was in Manhattan just off Times Square in an honest-to-God deli.

I politely suggest you guys give this place a chance.  I have never been disappointed from what Jason's offers.
