Local Italian Restaurant Announces Final Day in Business

SAN ANGELO, TX – Locally owned restaurant Mamma Changs announced on Wednesday that they will be closing down after less than a year of being open.

"I have been dreading typing up this post, but here we are. We are saddened to inform you all that this Saturday will be our last day," confirmed Adrian Soto, owner of Mamma Changs and Senior Changs. "As much as we want to continue with this restaurant we so much believe in, the sales just aren’t there to make financial sense in order to carry on."

"In just the short time that we were open we were able to develop some great relationships," stated Soto in the post. "New customers have now turned friends and because of that we will always be able to look back at this time and smile."

Although Mamma Changs will not be open Soto is still looking to feed the people of San Angelo.

"We will shift focus to catering and see what He has in store for us next. Thank each of you who gave us an opportunity, we hope to see you again before Saturday," continued Soto. "This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later."

Mamma Changs is located on the corner of the Van Buren and the Houston Hearte Expressway Frontage Rd. Their last day open will be Saturday, Mar. 12.
