San Angelo Airport Reopens

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Regional Airport is back open following an aircraft disaster exercise Wednesday morning. 

As previously reported, on Oct. 7, San Angelo Regional Airport officials asked the media and the public to avoid the airport Wednesday morning as they conducted an aircraft disaster exercise this morning. See the full story here: Officials: Stay Away from the San Angelo Regional Airport Today

The Airport has now fully reopened and the exercise is complete.  

The exercise was to test the city’s emergency response capabilities and ensure that the airport has an effective and efficient response to air disasters that could potentially occur at the airport.

The San Angelo Airport is located at 8618 Terminal Cir.
