Officials: Stay Away from the San Angelo Regional Airport Today

SAN ANGELO, TX –  San Angelo Regional Airport officials are asking the media and the public to avoid the airport Wednesday morning as they are conducting an aircraft disaster exercise this morning.

This is a required exercise for the airport to test the city’s emergency response capabilities and ensure that the airport has an effective and efficient response to air disasters that could potentially occur at the airport.

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, the airport is asking members of the public who are not participating in the exercise to practice safe social distancing and to avoid congregating or attending the exercise.
