SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angeloans will be seeing a new face on one the busiest street corners in town in the near future.
As first reported, on January 6, the City of San Angelo approved a permit for HTeaO to build a $400,000 building on the corner of Ave Q and S Bryant. Here is the original story: Texas Built Tea Company Coming Soon to San Angelo
Construction started within a few months of the permit and now the foundation has been poured and walls are up.
The company currently has 14 operating stores and is adding one in San Angelo and one in Plano. HteaO began with West Texas Roots starting with the owners Gary & Kim Hutchens also running the burger chain Buns Over Texas which has locations in Lubbock and Amarillo. Now they have tea shops all across Texas from Amarillo to Waco and even one in Florida.
Here are some of the items HTeaO will be offering:

This place has money behind it. There is a little place just opened this year on bell street called chang thai. It is family owned and the city has built a FORT around it and the owner struggles every day working his fingers to the bone to feed people. Since he has opened, there has been literal blockades around his resturant. There is a story to tell.

Permalink... so I guess the owners know some information about the Coronavirus Pandemic and all the restrictions and the U.S. Economy and so on and so forth ... that the so called experts, government and doctors don't have. Hmmm... something smells fishy... going on with construction and all ... when the experts are saying the U.S. and possibly other countries in financial distress. If they have some inside information that the experts... don't have... makes me go ..." Hmmm,.!

PermalinkDo you suppose they got a nice SBA loan and stimulus check to pay labor the cost. Most eatery businesses are buckling down on expansions but with free money who can resist?

PermalinkExperienced retail owners taking a calculated risk and putting money into the local economy should be viewed as a positive. Why so much negativity on this thread...
