All Dogs Survive the Colorado City Animal Shelter

COLORADO CITY, TX – All of the dogs that were in the Colorado City animal shelter have been adopted.

As previously reported, on Dec. 9, the Colorado City Police Department and the Colorado City Animal Shelter are seeking the public’s help to find homes for the dogs that are currently housed at the shelter. The shelter is full, and the dogs will be euthanized if they are not adopted by Wednesday. Here is the story: Area Animal Shelter At Max Capacity as Dogs Face Euthanization

Now KTXS has reported that all of the dogs have now been either adopted or tagged by rescue groups.

The shelter originally had 10 dogs. Six of them were adopted and the other four will be given to a rescue group after the city deems the group is legit.
