Firestone's New Location Set to Open Early September

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The new Firestone Complete Auto Care is nearly complete.

This $1.2 million project will be the third Firestone in San Angelo. The building is located at the former Cork and Pig Tavern at 2201 Knickerbocker Rd. The Cork and Pig moved out of the building in May of 2018.

The deconstruction of the former restaurant started on February 12 and now the project is nearly complete according to the Communications Manager Vimala Ingram.

The shop is scheduled to open for business by early September.

"The store will have seven vehicle service bays" Said Ingram. "This will provide more customers with convenient access to industry-leading Bridgestone and Firestone-brand tires."

The store does not have a concrete grand opening day at this time but the store will be open M-F 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
