$1.2 Million Firestone Construction Well Under Way

SAN ANGELO, TX – The new Firestone Complete Auto Care has made major progress over the past few weeks.

This project is scheduled to cost $1.2 million and will be the third Firestone in San Angelo. The building is located at the former Cork and Pig Tavern at 2201 Knickerbocker Rd. The Cork and Pig moved out of the building in May of 2018 and the lot has been vacant ever since.

The deconstruction of the former restaurant started on February 12 and only took a few weeks to complete. Now Rubble Concrete Services is working on getting the concrete laid.

No concrete has been laid at this time but preparations are being made for pouring to start in the next week.
