In a city council meeting held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, Parks & Recreation Director Carl White provided an update on the progress of the splash pad project initiated by All-Tex Irrigation & Supply, LLC.

A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 resulted in the loss of one life on Feb. 3, at approximately 2:29 p.m.
