Holly Jane (Bybee) Baskin, age 65 a beacon of warmth and wisdom, passed away on May 25th, 2024, in San Angelo Texas. Born to Richard Allen Bybee and Joyce Modema Mobley on March 31, 1959. Holly's life was a tapestry of love.
Holly grew up in Lamesa, Tx. With her siblings Kerry Don Bybee and the late Mark Allen Bybee. Her childhood was filled with the simple joys of small-town life, which laid the foundation of her nurturing spirit. She attended Lamesa High School and continued her education at Howard College of San Angelo.
Holly moved her family to San Angelo in June of 1993 and made it her forever home. She worked in everything from healthcare to retail. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Holly's life was a testament to the beauty of a life well lived, the lives she touched, and the love she shared. Her presence will be deeply missed but her legacy will bloom eternally in the hearts of those she left behind.
Holly is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Joyce, and her brother Mark. Her memory is honored by her children Tosha Gray, William Baskin II, and Joseph Bybee and wife Shelby. Her grandchildren Gabriel Gray and wife Morgan, Emma Peters, William Noah Baskin, Richard Gaug Baskin and wife Katlynn, Nick Baskin, Riley Baskin, Corben Baskin, Kaleb Fetchit and Jaden Bybee. Great grandchildren Oden Wayne Baskin, Opal Leann Baskin, and Maizie May Baskin. Her brother and sister-in-law Kerry and Tammy Bybee. Nieces and nephew along with a community of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Rivers of Hope located at 59 E 6th Street, San Angelo, TX. We will also have a brief gathering at Lamesa Cemetery on Sunday June 16th for friends and family who would like to attend at 11 a.m. Flowers can be accepted at 29 W Ave O, San Angelo, TX 76903.
