With profound sorrow yet cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Sieglinde "Siggy" Barbara Mueller on January 10, 2024, at her home in San Angelo, Texas. Siggy was 60 years of age, a beacon of light and love to all who were blessed to know her.
Born under an autumn sky in Wallstadt, Mannheim, Germany, to parents Helga Kaethe Federkiel and Horst Miller, Siggy was a beloved sister to Manuela. Her early years in Germany laid the foundation of a spirit both resilient and nurturing—a spirit that would guide her throughout her life.
Embracing both the value of hard work and the pursuit of dreams, Siggy achieved a certification in office management through her trade school education and embraced a new beginning as she became a proud United States Citizen on February 5, 1997. The communities of Moses Lake, Washington, and San Angelo, Texas, were graced by her presence, her enthusiasm for life, and her compassionate heart.
Siggy's love for swimming mirrored the fluidity and grace with which she lived her life. Beyond the water, her talents shone brightly in her artistic pursuits—painting, sketching, baking, cooking, and jewelry-making were not just hobbies but extensions of her soul, gifts she shared generously.
A fervent advocate for animals, Siggy supported the ASPCA and extended her goodwill as a community cornerstone, notably serving as a captain for the cancer walk for four years. Her leadership and conviction in these roles illuminated the path for many to follow in her footsteps of service and advocacy.
Her legacy is lovingly carried forward by her daughter, Steffanie Caudle, and her husband, Jeremy; her son, Robert Geiger, and his wife, Kimberley; and her precious grandchildren—Scottland, Sami Jo, Benjamin, and Robert's tiny horde—who each reflect a piece of her enduring spirit.
Her faithful cat Loki remains a living symbol of her boundless capacity to love and be loved.
While her life's journey has ended, leaving us to mourn the loss of our dear daughter, sister, artist, and friend, Siggy is reunited in eternal peace with her daughter Melanie Nicole Scanlan, her son Bobby Benjamin Scanlan, and her father.
Please join us in celebrating the remarkable life of Sieglinde "Siggy" Barbara Mueller. A service will be held in her honor on January 30, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX. During this gathering of hearts, we will share in the remembrance of a life that touched us all so deeply.
In loving memory of Siggy, contributions may be made to the ASPCA, reflecting her unwavering commitment to the well-being of animals.
As we bid her farewell, we hold close the assurance that her warmth, courage, and creativity have left an indelible mark on our lives, and that her story will continue to inspire and comfort us for generations to come.
