Lisa Marie Hurley-Crawford-Roper passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the age of 48.
Lisa was born on July 19, 1975, in San Angelo, Texas. Lisa had a vibrant spirit from the time she was a small child. Everyone that knew Lisa fell in love with her magnetic spirit. She could have everyone laughing in minutes with her contagious laugh and incredible sense of humor. She could always find humor in any situation and enjoyed life to the fullest.
She will be remembered by her siblings for many of her childhood escapades and adventures, that she always managed to convince others it was a “great idea”. Her dad even wrote stories about her and her sisters growing up. Lisa got her adventurous spirit from her dad.
Lisa was skilled in so many things and could learn just about anything. She was skilled in office and clerical work as well as creative and artistic endeavors. She was a great pool player and often enjoyed a game of darts. She was never afraid to try anything.
Lisa will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by her children and beloved grandchildren, Skylar Anderson and her children Ayla and Alyssa Branch, Ricky Anderson and his son Eli Anderson, Jordan Crawford, Brayden Riojas and Tasha Roper and her children Ryleigh and Shaylea Duckett; her parents Robert and Virginia Shuster, Linda Jackson; her sisters Sarah & Britt Wright, Terri “TJ” and David Hudec, Mary Jackson; her nieces and nephew Amber, Shelby, DJ and Harley; several half-nieces, cousins and many friends.
Lisa is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Rodney Weldon Roper; father, Terry Hurley; grandparents, Delbert and Jane Burnett, Doris Price, John Hurley; and sister Misty Blackwell.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, September 18, 2023, at Lake View Bible Church, 4825 Grape Creek Road, San Angelo, Texas at 10:00 am.
