William Dewayne Stewart, of Euless, passed from this Earth on August 11, 2023 at Medical Center of Plano at the age of 71. He was born on February 26, 1952, in San Angelo, Texas to John Henry and Elvida Sanders Stewart.
William worked in the construction industry for his entire life until he retired at the age of 62. It is thought that his contributions within the industry had positive impacts on many peoples’ lives, homes, and businesses. He was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and driving through the countryside, taking in the sights. William was amazing on the grill and loved camping. He enjoyed sitting with his friends and discussing the good ol’ days, raising a drink in remembrance to those who had already passed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa York Stewart and his mother, Elvida Carrick. He is survived by a son, Todd Stewart and his wife Wilai of Thailand, a daughter, Krislyn Bell and her husband Bobby of San Angelo, a brother, Johnny Stewart and his wife Linda of San Angelo, grandchildren, Landon and Logan Cowley of San Angelo, Austin Bell and his wife Briana of Houston, Easton and Tristan Bell of Tuscola. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Pioneer Memorial Park in Grape Creek.
