Jaron Lee Haney passed away in Allen, Texas on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 37. Jaron was born on May 27, 1986 in San Angelo, Texas. He attended and graduated from Wall ISD. Jaron was an excellent athlete in many sports such as soccer, basketball and track. His favorite was football. He received many honors and scored over 30 touchdowns each of the three years he played on varsity. He played both ways and made many tackles.
Jaron worked at many jobs while attending school including being the assistant manager of The Buckle. Jaron attended Delmar Community College in 2010 and received a firefighter certification as he graduated at the top of his class. After deciding not to be a firefighter he attended ASU and Tarleton. He obtained a BS in Computer and IT and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After graduation he applied for a job at Forte. He went in for his interview and was hired on the spot. He worked for Forte and CSG for nine years.
His company and coworkers loved working with Jaron and the great job he did. One of the first jobs Jaron accomplished was to fix a very expensive computer program which no one else had been able to fix. Great start.
Jaron loved working out, jiu jitsu, and frisbee golf. He loved the Lord and was saved while in his teens. He was a member at San Angelo Baptist Tabernacle. He later joined Baptist Temple. After moving to Allen, he attended Church Eleven32 and Chase Oaks. Jaron is survived by his mother Sharon Thiers Haney, father Jackie Lee Haney, brother and sister-in-law Ake and Karla Haney, and niece Karee Haney along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Harper Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Kimble Co. in Roosevelt, TX.
