At the age of 64 Roy J joined our heavenly Father on Monday, April 17, while surrounded by loved ones.
A longtime resident of Christoval and a graduate of Lake View High School, Roy J shared his life with his wife, Conie Eisenbach and was a proud father to Ike Eisenbach and his wife Shanna Eisenbach, Kimberlee Silerio and her husband Eric Silerio, Katelynn Kennemer and her husband Cole Kennemer. He felt most accomplished by the fact he had his grandchildren, Taylor, Baylee and Wes Eisenbach, Kash, Braxton, and Kyler Silerio and Beau Mason Kennemer. Born to Pat Shoemake, he was also raised by Tom Shoemake, Clarice Eisenbach and Roy Eisenbach. He was the oldest of six brothers and two sisters.
Roy J never failed at letting his entire family know how much he cared, nor how much he was always there for them. A cousin, uncle, nephew, son, best friend, colleague, mentor, there were many titles that he held. Roy J lived a long life of providing for his family and community through his many years of work in the oil field as he always wanted to.
A friend to many, Roy J loved being a helping hand. Though he may had been the quietest man in a crowd, he was most definitely loud through his actions. He was an extremely successful polo player, consultant, golfer, fisherman and hunter. Roy J was a noble man of God who shared his heart through back porch music sessions and every single one of his humble actions, discipling always through action. While his best days were spent in the middle of nowhere, he always knew his way home and never failed to return with a story and love for his wife.
Roy J will be deeply missed, thought of and appreciated. Though today and the tomorrows to come will bring tears, let us all hold steadfast to the fact that he is now surrounded by his brothers, best friends, grandparents and most importantly Jesus Christ.
