William, (Bill), "Liam" Henning, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 13, 2023, with the rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, with Very Reverend Santiago Udayar, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Afterwards, a meal will be served at the parish hall located at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church.
Mr. Henning was born November 6, 1965, in Concordia, Kansas. Liam was a 1984 graduate of Golden High School in Golden, Colorado. He has been a resident of San Angelo since 2012. Liam attended both St. Margaret Catholic Church and Holy Angels Catholic Church, both in San Angelo. Liam was a devout Catholic, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a dual officer in the Knights of Columbus council #17204. He was a friend and inspiration to many, he never met a stranger, and he enjoyed living and teaching about his faith above all. He also enjoyed reading, watching movies, traveling, cooking, and had a tremendous love for animals.
Survivors include his beloved, Melissa Baker of the home; a daughter, Tierza Henning of Colorado; an uncle, Marvin and wife Avis of Jamestown, Kansas; cousins, Mikel Henning and wife, Shayla of Glascow, Kansas; Donna Johnson and husband, Marvin of Salina, Kansas, Don Morehead and wife of California; and many other extended family and friends, including Mark Baker, and Mikaela Baker both of Mertzon, who lovingly referred to Liam as her D2. He was preceded in death by father, Robert Henning and mother, Joleen Henning, and both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
