Alyce Psencik Wilson of San Angelo was born July 27,1923, in Runnels County to Vladimer Elmer Psencik and Rosie Lee Mika Psencik.
She was a 1940 graduate of Ballinger High School and San Angelo Jr. College in 1942. After she graduated, she worked in banking and retired after 23 years. She was a member of St Pauls Presbyterian church and was married to William (Dee) Wilson on May 15, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dee Wilson, parents Elmer and Rosie Psencik and brother LeRoy Daniel Psencik.
She is survived by her sons Billy and wife Dorinda of Knickerbocker, Tx, Gary & wife Ruby of Ballinger, TX, Grandsons; Blaine Wilson, Randall and Kelle Wilson, Scott Wilson, Clayton and wife Ashley Wilson, J.J Wilson, Taylor Wilson of San Angelo, and great-granddaughters McKenzie, Michaela, Haley, Emma Nicole, and Chloe, and great-grandson Maxwell Wilson.
Alyce will be remembered for her kindness, sense of adventure, devotion to family and friends, and love of her Czechoslovakian heritage. She traveled extensively after retirement, making livelong friends. She was a wonderful person that blessed the lives of everyone she met. A special thank you goes out to Kelle & Max Wilson for their frequent visits to the nursing home with her beloved dog Micky. Also, a special thanks to Park Plaza Nursing & Rehab and St. Gabriel's Hospice. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. She will be laid to rest in the Rowena Cemetery alongside her parents and sibling. The family and friends will gather at the Rowena Cemetery September 10th at 10:30 a.m. to say a final farewell.
