Sandra Kay Crawford Davis went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at age 79, after a long battle with a stroke that left her with right side paralysis and aphasia in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Gregory Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Miles Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.
Sandra was born to Thomas Crawford and Glenda Appleton Crawford on June 29, 1943, in Corpus Christi. She was raised and attended schools in Farmington, New Mexico, and Brownfield. Upon commencement from Brownfield High School, in 1962, she met and married James Alton Davis on May 15, 1963. In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Sandra, worked as a school bus driver, commercial teller, manager of Dairy Queen, and opened her own restaurant called Sandra Ds. She was known for her excellence, kindness, and going the extra mile for her customers. She met and made many friends that soon became family. She was always reaching out and helping others.
Sandra had an unwavering faith in Jesus, and her faith only grew stronger in the final years of her life. She witnessed to many people about the love and faithfulness of our Lord. She was a leader and lead by example. Sandra was loved by so many. Her positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart left an impression wherever she went. She never met a stranger that didn't quickly become a friend; she always went out of her way to help anyone in need Home
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Sandra Rhea Davis and Brenda Davis Webb; granddaughter, Amanda Rhea Inmon; grandsons, Aaron Giles Inmon and Tyler Wayne Davis and Kaminari Rayne, Lucian Lysander, and Avatre Evangeline; and by her great-grandchildren.
