Margaret (Maggie) Ann Ault, of San Angelo, Texas, went to be with her lord and savior on July 11, 2022, at the age of 75.
She was born on November 6, 1946, in Ballinger, Texas to Jack and Billie Rudd. Maggie married Ike Ault on August 6, 1987, in San Angelo, Texas and had one daughter and three step-children.
Maggie was an active member of the San Angelo Art Club where she served as their publicity chairman. Many remember Maggie as a “spark of energy” within the club and throughout the community. Her involvement led to various awards; including a watercolor painting of a ram which was purchased through Angelo State University years ago to hang in the Tippett House.
Maggie had many hobbies and interests which included drawing, painting, yoga, music and a good glass of wine. Some of her past times were spending time with her daughter Tonya, traveling, watching the sunset with her husband Ike from her favorite hill on the ranch and a girl’s night out with her friends.
Maggie loved fiercely and was a “brightness” to everyone around her.
Maggie is survived by her husband, Ike Ault. Her daughter, Tonya Williams and Russell Williams (son-in-law) of New Braunfels, Texas. Her step-children Brent Ault and life partner Tom Boswell of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sabrina and husband Lon Webster of Red River, New Mexico, Amber and husband Andrew Jens Of Reston, Virginia.
Her grandchildren Maegan and husband Jonah Eddleman, Aaron Harlow, Shaun Harlow, Connor Harlow, Marie Webster, Charlie Webster, Sam Jens and Evelyn Jens.
Her great-grandchildren Elijah Eddleman and Siya Webster.
Maggie is preceded in death by her brother Dr. Billy Jack Rudd, grandson Michael Brown and niece Kathy Rudd.
Visitation will be held on July 14th, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at Harper Funeral Home, San Angelo, Texas.
