Colin Richard Early, 35, passed away suddenly from unforeseen medical complications on July 11, 2022, in San Angelo.
Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2022, at First Christian Church, 29 N Oakes St, San Angelo, TX 76903. The family requests that a donation be made to West Texas Counseling and Guidance Center instead of flowers.
Colin was born April 9, 1987, in San Angelo, to Fran and Tom Early. Colin was busy from the moment he was born. He was a happy baby who would talk in his own language and dance on the coffee table. Later, as a young boy, he loved to hop on his bike and cruise around the neighborhood, perusing garage sales and collecting things. As soon as he was able, he got a job to save up money and his license to drive his tiny red Mazda truck.
Later, he moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas San Antonio and while he was there, seemingly worked at every job under the sun. After he left San Antonio, Colin moved back to San Angelo. There he started work as a trim carpenter and worked on everything from crown molding to building stairs. He quickly started his own business as an independent contractor and produced beautiful woodwork for builders.
Colin loved discussing carpentry, golfing, watching the Cincinnati Bengals, talking about aliens, reading motivational quotes, talking about the latest documentary he had watched, drinking energy drinks, and hanging out with his family.
Colin is finally resting in peace. He is survived by his parents, Fran and Tom Early, his sister Karen Early and her wife Leah Muse and their son, Harper Muse.
