Frank Kaufman Mackey passed away Friday February 18 at the age of 83 in San Angelo, Texas.
Frank was born in Big Spring, Texas October 3, 1938, to Nita Donoho Mackey and Frank Kaufman Mackey. He grew up in Colorado City, Texas. He attended TCU where he was a letterman on the golf team, as well as a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Being such an avid golfer led him to work for the Ben Hogan Company and other companies in the golf industry. Also, while living in Fort Worth, he worked in the banking industry eventually holding the position of president for several banks. Lastly, he co-owned Blaylock Industries, an aluminum foundry, for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife Bertie Lou Mackey, his children Allison Mackey Watson (Kevin) and Frank Karl Mackey, grandchildren Emmalee Toland, Jordan Mackey and Wade Mackey, stepsons, Blair and Thad Parsley, 2 step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
