Mona worked for the Eldorado School Cafeteria as a cook and when she moved back to San Angelo in 1984 she started working for the San Angelo ISD Cafeteria. Mona taught religious education in Eldorado ,and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she served as a eucharistic minister. She loved living out her faith by showing her children and grandchildren the way of the Lord. No matter what life gave her she always offered a smile and she never knew a stranger. The family gains comfort that she is free of the pain from cancer and now she is truly home with the Lord.
