Lois Arlene Moon was born December 21, 1931 to Alvin and Clarissa Wilson Pollock in Industry, Illinois. She left for her heavenly home on November 5, 2020 at her home in San Angelo, Texas surrounded by her family. Lois was a strong and loving woman who welcomed everyone into her home and they immediately became family. She loved her large family deeply and was proud of each and every one of them.
She moved to Pecos, Texas in 1951. She lived in several places in Texas and Louisiana before settling in Brownfield, Texas. There she worked for Good Pasture and Attabury Grain until she retired in 2016. She then moved to San Angelo, Texas. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Lawrence "Bud" Pollock, and her son, Robert Moon, and grandson, David Charamut. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Susan (Vernon) Click of Brownfield, Texas, Linda Gisolo of San Angelo, Texas and Tyna Hall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three sons John (Cindy) Moon of Lafayette, Louisiana , Mike (Leisa) Moon of Midlothian, TX, and Donald (Cindy) Moon of San Angelo, TX. One brother, George (Dona) Pollock of Rushville, Illinois, and one sister, Doris Pollock of San Angelo, TX.
Lois leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and friends that are too numerous to count.
Her memorial service will be held November 21, 2020 at Harper Funeral Home, 2606 Southland Blvd in San Angelo, Texas at 10:00 o'clock am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lois Moon's name to CV Biblical Counseling Center, 2601 Freeland Avenue, San Angelo, Texas 76901.
