Pamala Ashley Marshall age 74 of San Angelo, Texas died October 26, 2020.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marshall was born October 8, 1946 in San Angelo to her parents Joyce Barry of San Angelo and Jack Marshall of Rankin. Pamala grew up in San Angelo graduating from Lake View High School in 1965. After graduation, Pamala moved to Houston where she began her 40 years of government service with NASA. She then transferred to U. S. Customs in Galveston, as a clerk. Pamala worked entering and clearing vessels. When the entry ports of Houston and Galveston merged she became a Customs Inspector and transferred to the Houston Seaport where she worked until retirement. Pamala volunteered as an instructor to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center {FLETC} several times during her career. After 9-11 she spent time in Italy clearing cargo destined for the US for weapons of mass destruction. Pamala retired in 2006. Upon retirement she moved back to San Angelo, where she enjoyed her retirement living close to family.
Pamala is lovingly survived by her two brothers, Barry Marshall of San Angelo and Terry Buckway and wife Nancy of Hyde Park, Utah; a niece, Pam Yarbrough and husband Kevin of San Angelo; a nephew, Barry Jr. Marshall and wife Annie of Tucson, Arizona; a nephew, Terry Marshall and wife Jill of San Angelo; a niece, Stacy Van Nest and husband Chris of Bishop, California; and a nephew, Jason Buckway of Declo, Idaho; and many loving great nieces, nephews, and friends. Pamala was preceded in death by her parents, and by her sister-in-law, Beverly Lynn Marshall.
