This is the day the Lord has made rejoice and be glad in it! Psalms 118:24
Charlotte Ann Watrous went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday the 1st of May 2020. It was a peaceful and pain-free crossing.
Charlotte Ann was born in Eldorado Texas on September 16th 1940. In her time here on Earth she was a licensed hairdresser and made lifelong friends from that period in her life. She also enjoyed bowling, collecting trophies including the City Championship. She was a world-class knitter (in our opinion) who made throws by the dozens to give away. She also read God's words and challenged herself to learn all she could.
She married the love of her life Lloyd Watrous in 1972 and enjoyed 46 years together. The last 20 years they had their own little “Piece of Heaven" in Buffalo Gap Texas.
After his passing Ann moved back to San Angelo to be near her family. She joined the Christian village family and loved every day she spent there. She made good friends there as she did everywhere.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and son Michael and parents Dewey and Norma Kellar.
She leaves behind son Carl and Angie Watrous of Willis Texas, daughter Jan and Jim Hughes of San Angelo. Sisters Barbara and Larry McWilliams of Barnhart Texas and Brenda and Mike Norris of San Angelo. Grandchildren Stephanie Watrous of Andover Kansas, Tiffany Gass of Friendswood Texas, Nathaniel Von Haeften of London England, Gary and Krissa Hughes of San Angelo, Ashley and Justin Trimble of Water Valley. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Austin, Addison, Jadon, Makayla, Rylee, Gunnar and Alex.
Ann's family would like to thank Christian Village her home for the last 2 years. A very special thank you to all the caregivers over the years that have shared your hearts with her as well as the nursing staff at Shannon Hospital and the very caring HOSA team. To the special angels in her life Sandy, Amanda, Amber and Julie, you were her family and you blessed her life.
There won't be services with the current "stay-at-home" restrictions in place so we ask that you just take a moment to remember her.
