"William H. (Dub) Riley of Fort Stockton, passed away March 22, 2017, -3 days short of his 88th Birthday.
He was a Beloved Husband, a Loved Father and Grandpa.
He was born in Brady, Texas on March 25, 1929 to Bill and Ilene Riley
He graduated from Texas Tech in 1952 and started a Teaching and Coaching Career.
In 1955, He moved his Family to Fort Stockton, Texas where he and his wife, Lela began Farming.
During the early 1970’s Dub became involved in International Agricultural Consulting in the Mid-East.
He and Lela wound up in Uruguay, South America where he spent the last 15 years of his career.
Upon retiring, he and Lela moved back to Fort Stockton and later to San Angelo to be closer to family.
Dub is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lela; his children; Wil Riley & wife Bonnie of Miami, Florida, Tam Honaker & husband Rick of San Angelo, Timothy O Riley and wife of Paysandú, Uruguay, and Hoven Riley of Fort Stockton. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Honoring Dub’s wishes there will be no service.
We will miss dearly our Husband, Father and Mentor.
