Allen Wells, 92, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away on November 6, 2014. Allen was a World War II veteran who served with the 226th Antiaircraft Artillery Searchlight Battalion, which fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Most of his life was spent in Rogers, TX, where he was very active in both the community and his church.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Wells Walker, and his brother, Julian A. Wells. He is survived by one sister, Alzada Wells Marsh, Half-sister Judy Wells Blevins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Marsh family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice of San Angelo and to Mrs. LaNelle Sherrod for the love and support they gave to Allen during his time of need.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 8, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo. A graveside service to follow at noon Saturday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
