Alvie Eugene Bingham, beloved brother, 58, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, in San Angelo. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at North Side Church of Christ with Jim Murphy officiating. Alvie was born July 25, 1956, in Eden, Texas, to Bobby Elton and Tennie Mae Mullins Bingham.
He worked in the petroleum industry as a roughneck most of his life. He was very mechanically inclined and because of this, he loved working on cars. He was an avid history buff and had a passion for music which was evident by his extensive music collection. Alvie was a very proud man and never accepted any help from anyone, however he was always there to help anyone in need and put himself last. His favorite pastime was joking around with and aggravating people for fun. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Erica Gray and her husband, Scott, of Tuscola, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan and Reid Gray of Tuscola, Texas; three brothers, Bobby Bingham and his wife, Rene, of San Angelo, Dwain Kennedy and his wife, Laura, of Sugar Land, Texas, and Korby Kennedy and his wife, Georgana, of San Angelo; his uncles, Frankie "Moon" Mullins of San Angelo, Buster Kennedy and family of San Angelo, William Reel and his wife, Lille, of San Angelo, Kenneth Bingham and his wife, Yvonne, of Levelland, Texas, and Gene Bingham of San Angelo; his aunt, Marcella Bingham of San Angelo; special friend Susie Moorse of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
