The Great Debate 2016 for the San Angelo Police Chief election was held Tuesday, April 5, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the RiverView Restaurant, 800 W. Avenue D.
The following is the full video of entire debate in six sections.
Participating were San Angelo Police Chief Tim Vasquez, SAPD Lt. Mike Hernandez, Mr. Jeff Davis, and Lt. Frank Carter.
The debate covered a wide range of topics, starting with the crime rate and working within the city’s budget.
The debate was hosted by Townsquare Media, KGKL 960-AM. Townsquare's Operation Manager Boomer Kingston was the emcee; Joe Hyde, Publisher of San Angelo LIVE!; and Brandy Ramirez, Editor-in-Chief for San Angelo LIVE! asked the questions, including a few from the audience. Enjoy!
