Today, as the clock hit 7 p.m., voters lined the Angelo Bible Church. As voters waited patiently in the slow-moving line, many people chatted about how this was the first time they ever had to wait in such a line for a primary election in San Angelo. Such was the case across the city and nation today as voters, in record numbers, cast their votes. Thus far, 6,660 votes have been counted thus far on the local level.
Although state predictions are still coming in on a national level for presidential candidates, here are the unofficial final numbers from all polling locations on the presidential race in Texas and local races. Keep in mind, absentee ballots still have to be counted.

PermalinkTitle is misleading , if you look at vote totals in the Republican Primary vs the Democrat you will find that over 2,830,299 were cast in the Republican with only a little over 1,427,178 cast in the Democrat. Your title would have been most correct had you stated Texas Party Choices for President when using percentages. Cruz had over 1,238,520 votes with 99% of the vote in , Clinton had 933,633 according to the AP.
