Right before noon Saturday, the driver of a blue Dodge Caravan went to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after failing to yield the right of way to the driver of a blue Mazda, said an official with the San Angelo Police Department.
According to the officer, the driver of the blue Mazda was heading west and about to turn off of Bryant onto 7th Street. At the same time, the driver of the blue Dodge Caravan was heading north on Bryant. A witness stated that blue Mazda had a green light when the driver of the Caravan pulled out in front of him causing a collision.
