Car Theft and Alcohol Mark Sunday Bookings

Two men accused of stealing cars were jailed on Sunday, one booked by the SAPD, one booked by sheriff's deputies. A third individual was jailed for exhibition of acceleration, followed by evading arrest. 

Twenty-seven total inmates were booked into the county jail Sunday, and among them were five counts of public intoxication, five counts of pot possession, three possession charges, three assualts, two DWIs and one minor in consumption. 

In addition, the booking report also reflected one individual jailed for terroristic threats and one theft. Many of those booked had multiple charges. 

Twenty-two inmates were released on Sunday.
