ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Zoo announced the birth of its third giraffe since the beginning of May.
The newest giraffe, which hasn’t been named yet, was born Monday, July 6 — joining the other young giraffes, Kekere and Lue, who were born May 3 and May 18.
“The trio is complete!” Abilene Zoo stated in a Facebook post. “Malaika gave birth to a precious baby girl. It did not take her long to get on her feet and start moving. Better yet, Kekere and Lue have already welcomed her as their own!”
The Abilene Zoo will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Saturday, July 18, with free cake and ice cream, up-close animal encounters and more.
The event will also be a chance for the public to meet the giraffe herd’s newest member.

It disgusts me how people let these individuals just loaf around without paying taxes while people are depending of their social security and disability checks. Tell that lazy scumbag tart giraffe to get a job.
