San Angelo Couple Indicted for Continuous Lewd Abuse of a Child

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A San Angelo couple has been indicted for sexually abusing a child younger than 14.

Sabrina and Dusty Padilla were indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for sex abuse of a child continuous: victim under 14.

According to court documents, on Jan. 24, 2025, an investigator spoke with San Angelo Police Department Patrol Officers who stated they were dispatched to the Kent Kwik, 3251 N. Bryant Blvd., in reference to a runaway 12-year-old child.

The child was an alleged victim of sexual abuse and claimed that Sabrina and Dusty Padilla had sexually touched them. In a forensic interview, the child victim said they had been sexually abused by Dusty multiple times over the course of three years. The child said they were abused by Sabrina as well.

Dusty and Sabrina Padilla were arrested on Jan. 24, 2025, and have been inmates in the Tom Green County Jail since. Dusty Padilla is being held on $250,000 bond, while Sabrina is being held on $350,000 bond.
