Former Angelo State Basketball Player Indicted for Human Trafficking

SAN ANGELO, TX — A former Angelo State University basketball player has been indicted by a Tom Green County jury on charges of human trafficking and compelling prostitution under the age of 18.

Kiair Crouch, 29, was booked into the Tom Green County Jail in the early morning hours of Friday, April 18.

According to court documents, Crouch committed two or more acts of trafficking of an individual under the age of 18 to engage in prostitution in 2021.

Crouch is also accused of trafficking an adult the same year. That individual alleged Crouch caused her to be intoxicated, which “impaired her ability to appraise the nature of or resist engaging in any conduct.”

Crouch also had charges for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and criminal trespassing listed on the booking report.

Crouch, who is from Georgia, played two seasons at ASU from 2017-19.
