Whataburger Hosts Sheep Unveiling

SAN ANGELO, TX – Whataburger celebrated its newest San Angelo location Tuesday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the unveiling of a sheep statue with the Chamber of Commerce at 5855 Sherwood Way.

The event, held at 10 a.m., featured local officials, company representatives, and the Whataburger mascot. The newly revealed sheep sculpture, part of San Angelo’s iconic fiberglass sheep collection, was painted by local artist Ashley Perales, owner and founder of Pop of Color.

The sheep was decorated with the Whataburger color scheme of orange and white, adorned with the restaurant's traditional stickers placed on the wrapping of food items.

The restaurant, which officially opened this time last year, is one of four Whataburger locations in San Angelo. It features a dining room with a custom mural of local landmarks, digital menu boards, and a double drive-thru.

Whataburger representatives previously announced that the restaurant employs a team of 60 and offers 24-hour service, curbside pickup, and mobile ordering through its app.
