AUSTIN, TX - Attorney General Ken Paxton successfully stopped an attempt by activists and a handful of State legislators to create a precedent allowing for a legislative committee to delay execution, settling a critical Constitutional question and ensuring justice for the two-year-old murder victim in the 2002 case.
Robert Roberson was convicted of murdering his two-year-old daughter in 2002 and is scheduled to be executed in October 2024. In an unprecedented procedural maneuver intended to end-run the State Constitution and delay his execution, members of the Texas House issued a subpoena calling the convicted murderer to testify in front of their committee on a date after the execution was to take place.
The legislative committee then sued to enforce their subpoena, doubling down on their unconstitutional effort to interfere with his death sentence. Now, the Texas Supreme Court has ruled that the subpoena issued by a Texas House Committee may not interfere with a lawfully ordered execution, writing, “Legislative investigatory power, even at its maximum, is insufficient to forestall a long-scheduled execution under the circumstances presented here.”
Attorney General Paxton said, “The rule of law prevailed against bad-faith political actors who schemed to undermine the justice system in Texas. Jeff Leach and his associates violated the separation of powers enshrined in the Texas Constitution: they conspired to block the lawful execution of a man convicted of murdering his two-year-old daughter, Nikki. Ensuring justice for murder victims is one of my most sacred responsibilities as Attorney General, and we fought every step of the way for her.”
The process was fraught with other incidences of impropriety. While the matter was pending before the courts, Representative Jeff Leach, the chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence, publicly confessed to violating the law and committing a breach of ethics by sending “ex parte” communications in an attempt to improperly influence a sitting Judge on the Court of Criminal Appeals.

PermalinkWriting as someone with a file with a 3 letter government agency, I can tell you that the best that Trump can do is give the American empire a soft landing instead of an explosive crash into an unacknowledged wider reality. The pigeons are coming home to roost, and an era of falling birdshit is about to descend upon us.
Heaven has reached its verdict, and nothing can stop what's coming—not even Trump.

PermalinkThe recent House Oversight Committee hearing on “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth” laid bare a reality that many in positions of power would prefer remain obscured. The existence of these phenomena—documented through radar, eyewitness testimony, and sophisticated technological sensors—poses an undeniable threat to the security and sovereignty of this nation. While Washington’s indifference to these revelations is no surprise, the betrayal of the American people by state-level politicians hits closer to home. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the actions—or, rather, inactions—of Texas state representative Drew Darby. His failure to address this issue is more than just an oversight; it is emblematic of a broader pattern of irresponsible neglect, one that may well be deliberate.
Let us consider the facts. Texas occupies a critical position in the nation’s defense infrastructure. It is home to energy assets vital to the country’s economic and strategic stability, as well as cutting-edge aerospace facilities such as NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Yet, despite the revelations from the hearing—revelations that confirmed interference with vital military systems by UAPs—Darby has done nothing to protect the citizens of his district. His silence on the matter is not merely passive; it borders on complicity.
The testimony presented to Congress detailed how UAPs have interfered with advanced military systems, including nuclear weapons facilities and communication networks. These are not random occurrences but targeted disruptions, demonstrating a level of technological sophistication that renders traditional defense mechanisms ineffective. Texas, with its extensive energy grid and crucial aerospace industries, is a prime target for such interference. And yet, Darby, a man who should be the first to champion the protection of his constituents, has chosen to remain silent.
This silence is not an isolated failure but a pattern of disregard that characterizes Darby’s tenure. Consider the vulnerabilities of Texas’s energy grid, a system already pushed to the brink during Winter Storm Uri. Texans were left in the cold and dark while Darby and others in Austin assured us the problem would be addressed. It wasn’t. Now, faced with the possibility of advanced technological interference, Darby has again abdicated responsibility. Is it mere negligence, or is there something darker at play?
It is instructive to examine why Darby has taken this path. Texas’s independence has always been its strength—a state rich in resources, enterprise, and pride. Yet, in recent years, its leaders have systematically failed to act in the interest of their people. Darby’s unwillingness to address the UAP issue is a symptom of a broader sickness, a willingness to bow to forces—be they federal, corporate, or otherwise—that do not have Texans’ welfare at heart. While other states and municipalities begin to take steps to address UAP-related concerns, Texas lags behind, held hostage by men like Darby who refuse to lift a finger for the common good.
What makes Darby’s neglect particularly troubling is the potential for malice behind it. It is one thing for a politician to be ignorant or complacent; it is another for him to deliberately ignore a threat. One must ask why Darby remains silent when other leaders are taking proactive measures. Could it be that Darby stands to benefit from his inaction? Such a conclusion may seem bold, but history teaches us to question the motives of those who consistently betray their obligations.
The dangers of UAPs are not limited to national security; they also pose an existential threat to the social and technological stability of our communities. Reports of interference with critical infrastructure should raise alarms, particularly in a state like Texas where the energy sector is so vital. Yet Darby offers no legislation, no public statements, and no acknowledgment of the risks. His constituents remain uninformed and unprepared, left to fend for themselves should an incident occur.
This betrayal fits neatly into a larger pattern. Darby’s career has been marked by a willingness to ignore the needs of his constituents while advancing agendas that serve only himself and his backers. He has stood by as Texas’s infrastructure has crumbled, as its borders have been compromised, and as its sovereignty has been undermined by forces both foreign and domestic. His silence on the UAP issue is not an anomaly—it is consistent with a legacy of neglect that prioritizes his political career over the lives and well-being of his people.
It is essential to understand that Darby’s inaction is not merely a failure of governance. It is indicative of a deliberate effort to suppress public awareness of the UAP issue. The hearings in Washington revealed a bipartisan effort to investigate and address these phenomena, yet Darby refuses even to engage in the conversation. Why? Is it because the implications of acknowledging UAPs would disrupt the comfortable arrangements he has cultivated? Or is it because the vulnerabilities exposed by such discussions would reflect poorly on his record of neglect? Either way, his silence serves his interests, not those of his constituents.
Darby’s failure to act leaves Texas not only unprotected but actively weakened. By refusing to address the implications of UAP interference, he has abdicated his responsibility to safeguard the energy grid, aerospace industry, and military infrastructure that make Texas a cornerstone of America’s strength. This dereliction of duty creates a vacuum, one that could be exploited by forces—be they extraterrestrial, foreign, or domestic—seeking to undermine our sovereignty.
Ultimately, Drew Darby’s handling of the UAP issue reveals much about his character and his priorities. At a time when decisive leadership is needed, he offers nothing but silence. His refusal to act is a betrayal of the trust placed in him by the people of Texas, a betrayal that underscores his broader pattern of neglect and irresponsibility. Whether this inaction is driven by incompetence or malice, the result is the same: a weakened Texas, vulnerable to interference and harassment from forces unknown.
Darby’s constituents deserve better. They deserve a leader who will stand up for their safety, their sovereignty, and their future. Instead, they have been saddled with a man who has proven, time and again, that he is unfit to lead. His failure to address the UAP issue is not just an isolated misstep; it is part of a broader agenda, one that serves interests far removed from those of the people he claims to represent. If Texans wish to secure their future, they must demand accountability and refuse to tolerate the betrayal of leaders like Drew Darby.
