Texas Border Patrol Finds 16 Migrants Locked in Trailer

 

LAREDO, TX – Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents working their assigned duties stopped a human smuggling attempt Tuesday, Oct. 15, yielding the apprehension of 16 migrants.

Agents responded to suspicious activity by a concerned citizen call, and they noticed a parked tractor-trailer that belonged to a local business and proceeded to check the trailer.

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents working their assigned duties interdicted a human smuggling attempt yielding the apprehension of 16 migrants.

Border Patrol agents discovered undocumented non-citizens inside the locked trailer with no means of escape.

Agents successfully rescued 16 migrants who were taken to the Laredo North Station for processing. Record checks revealed they were in the country illegally from Mexico. All subjects were processed according to their individual immigration status.
